Canada got its name when Jacques Cartier was exploring around the St. Lawrence River; when the Iroquois were showing the way to the village they pointed to it and said “Kanata”. Kanata means village or land. Jacques then began referring to the land as Canada.

Is it true there is a UFO landing area?

Yes. In 1967 the first UFO landing area was built in St. Paul Alberta. Everything needed to make the landing area was donated by the town. It also has at least one stone from every province.

Where is the longest covered bridge?
The worlds longest covered bridge is Hartland Bridge and is actually located in Canada. It was built in 1921 and is located in Hartland, New Brunswick and is 1,282 feet in length.
